Taking It Outside

Posted by deborah on Tuesday, April 1st, 2008

The view is not really mine although it would be nice. The last couple of days have been very trying with a huge headache to match. My company “Garlic Dzign” seems to be picking up more and more quality clients that I am truly going to enjoy working with but for some reason my personal life is giving me hell.

Do all relationships come with much debate and soul tugging?

I guess its a true fact that we get caught up in our so many tasks that we forget about the most important things. Taking care of those around us! I guess I have been guilty of this very thing. Well I am not going to let it slip away, or at least I will give it my best shot.

Does it mean that I have to much on my plate?

Well I am working on that to. I need to sort the really productive and beneficial items from the dreams. I spoke before about simplifying my life and my work and I haven’t made much headway. But today I picked it all up again and started. The thing is I realized after much discussion with my partner that I have lost myself. With the development of my new software and trying to run a web hosting company has taken me away from me and the person I care about. I have let friends and family gain to much of my attention and trying to solve their problems I forgot about working on my own.

Sitting at a computer for 12 hours a day inside four walls gets really testy sometimes to. Especially now when its spring here in Florida and I have the entire outdoors to work with everyday!

So to clear my head and get back to the most important things I decided to take the laptops, (yes I need 2 of them) outside to the Tiki Bar and see what I could accomplish with minimal items.

It seems to be working, so far me, the two laptops and my best friend in the whole world are working outside today.

Its great to hear the birds, watch the lizards chase after one another and the squirrels busy with building nests. And of course an occasional airplane that flies over. But all in all, I have been pretty productive. This could turn into an everyday getaway for me.
