Sometimes a person just feels like writing a poem. Using only words that are relevant to the scene. Brief and to the point. Writing a poem is not something I do often but I was listening to nature and this is what she said to me:
Best to be in the forest
when overcast or raining
the light is soft on those
raw and beautiful moments
searching for fauna and flora
among such geological wonders.
The mist adds to the atmosphere
without any distractions
good to visit early mornings
when the cooler air
creates a whole new
realm to the forest.
Water, the interior heart
and soul, provides such
beautiful imagery as it flows
past, those timeless moments
so silky smooth, a reminder
to cherish the serenity.
Rich organic colors
from various angles
slippery rocks and well-
padded carpets of moss
an abundance of trees,
add balance and structure.
Invest the time with
curiosity and patience
and Mother Nature rewards
you with something special.
Then, walk away empty-handed,
and return to try again and again.
