The past month I have traveled throughout California. It has been 18 months since I left here and it feels good to be back for a few days. Sunday Morning I met up with a friend and a new acquaintance for some fine dining and great Jazz music with a live band at a place called Spaghettini in Seal Beach. The food was beyond excellent and the band was enjoyable. A great way to spend a few hours on this Sunday Morning.
For some, Sunday Mornings are a time of worship. I spend much time in prayer and meditation, but not inside four walls. A churchgoer has not been my style for many years.
I think Sunday Mornings should get back to a day of rest and relaxation. A day of giving thanks and spending time refreshing and recharging the body. Making plans for the week and preparing.
Where do Sunday Mornings find you?
Visiting with family, relaxing by the water, reading a good book? Gardeners, do you allow days rest for the ground you work in during the week?
Try making Sundays a day of clearing the mind and breathe in the freshness of the day. Choose one thing to do next Sunday and do it! Walk in the park, watching old movies, sleeping in a hammock, collecting seashells.
Whatever it is make the most of it.
