My co-host, my long-time friend, a passionate writer, and the list goes deeper used to welcome me on Sunday Mornings for good conversations.
She had a unique ability to put things into perspective and help me see the bigger picture. Her kindness and generosity knew no bounds and she was always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need.
Her love for people was evident in everything she did, whether it was volunteering at a local gathering, lending an ear to a friend in need, or simply spreading joy and positivity wherever she went. She had a heart of gold and her impact on the world or at least mine will continue to be felt for years to come.
Despite our busy schedules, we never failed to catch up and discuss our latest adventures and challenges. Her love for writing was contagious and she inspired me to pursue my own passions and dreams.
She had a talent for capturing the essence of life in her writing and her words were always filled with empathy, kindness, and wisdom. Her stories were thought-provoking pieces that made you reflect on the world around you.
We often talked about how quickly time flies and how important it is to cherish the people we love and the experiences we have. We talked about how life can be unpredictable. Making us appreciate the present moment to make a conscious effort to live in each moment.
Our conversations inspired each of us to be more mindful, more grateful, and more compassionate. We talked about the importance of spreading kindness, supporting each other, and positively impacting those we could reach.
Our reach would be through the writings we post here on Sunday Morning Blogger.
This poet and I never knew how far out our words would reach and if anyone would actually be interested. We spoke from our hearts as I try and continue to do with no real rhyme or reason other than keeping conversations alive. Trusting that whatever was written might help shape a situation or the thinking of those that have set aside a few moments of their day and tuned in here to read our own thoughts and ideas. Mostly, our rambles.
Beyond this page, the world is invisible since I cannot see anyone on the other end.
But I know you, the reader, exist and I appreciate any of you that actually visit Sunday Morning Blogger.
These conversations will stay with me forever and I will always be grateful for the time I spent with my dear friend.
To me, she is still out there cheering me on even through her death.
